What are the hours of operation?

From April 1 to September 30, the museum is open from 9:00 am to 6:00 pm. (Last admission at 5:30 p.m.)
From October 1 to March 31 of the following year, the hours are 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. (Last admission at 4:30 p.m.)
*The exhibition hall and the first Prefectural Hall are open to visitors from 9:30 a.m.

When is the library closed?

The museum is closed every Monday. (If Monday is a national holiday, the museum is closed on the following weekday.)
Please note that we may be closed for the New Year holidays and maintenance.

How much is the entrance fee?

Rates until Tuesday, November 22, 2022
First prefectural office / free

Rates after Thursday, November 24, 2022 *After the grand opening
Admission: 300 (200) yen for adults, 200 (150) yen for university students, and free for high school students and younger
(The admission fee is for the first Prefectural Hall and the permanent exhibition at the Hyogo History Hall.)

Are wheelchairs and strollers allowed?

It is available.
Wheelchairs and baby carriages are available for rent at the Hyogo Prefectural Hyogo-zu Museum. Please inquire at the reception desk when using them.

What is the closest station to the museum by train?

For the Kobe Municipal Subway, take the Kaigan Line to Chuo Ichiba-mae Station (less than a 5-minute walk), and for the JR, take the Kobe Line to Hyogo Station (20-minute walk).

What is the nearest bus stop to the museum?

It is Kobe Municipal Bus Nakanoshima-mae (within 4 minutes on foot).

Is there a dedicated parking lot for buses?

This information is available for group use. Please be sure to contact the Hyogo Prefectural Hyogo Tsu Museum in advance.

Can I bring my pet to see the museum?

Guide dogs and other assistance dogs for the physically disabled are allowed in the museum.
